April 18: Nopolo and Islas Los Islotes

posted 4/18/2009

Blue-footed boobies (two females and one displaying male) showed up at the party!
Dear whalewatchers:
We started our day at Nopolo village and said hello to our friends here as we gave them some fresh water.
We offered an onshore birding walk this morning and some were able to find the elusive Xantus hummingbird!
We motored to Islas Los Islotes where the frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies and sea lions entertained us for a few hours.
We said goodbye to Baja for 2009, but have great plans for 2010! Hope you can join us,
Capt Art and celia
